Coach Benedetti brings a Division-1 winning mentality and knowledge, combined with 15 years of NJSIAA coaching experience to our Academy. He was the former Head Coach at Hamilton High School West (in Hamilton NJ) where he coached the Hornets wrestling team to a Valley Division title and had multiple state qualifiers.  

From 2012 to 2018 he coached the Bordentown/Florence High School wrestling program. As Head Coach of the Flashdogs, he led them to multiple state qualifiers, place winners, and set a school record on the number of state qualifiers in one year to be sent to the NJSIAA Wrestling Championships at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.  

 Coach Benedetti has deep roots throughout the Burlington and Mercer County Wrestling Community and is excited to make a positive impact on Cookstown NJ and its surrounding areas for many more years to come! 

Professor Jeff Cressman currently holds a Second Degree Black Belt under the legendary Professor Carlos Catania.  He received his promotion to the ranks of Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Black Belt, Master Brad Daddis of the renowned Daddis Fight Camps. He also is a "Black Shirt" in Muay Thai Kickboxing under the Daddis Fight Camps, Muay Thai Ranking system as well as being a certified instructor in Tactical Urban Defense System otherwise known as "TUDS." (Mix of Krav Maga, Muay Thai and BJJ used for real life self-defense).  

Coach Jeff began training boxing at the age of 6 under his father, Fran Cressman, a retired boxer based out of the Kensington section of Philadelphia. By the age of 10 years old he began wrestling and training traditional Martial Arts such as Aikido and TKD.  In 2005 Coach Jeff began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing under BJJ Black Belt, Master Brad Daddis. After only a few months of training, Coach Jeff started to compete in multiple BJJ tournaments placing very well. Within 1 year he made his amateur MMA debut.  After a extensive amateur career Prof. Jeff moved on to the professional MMA circuit in 2008. He has fought for some of the top organizations in the Philadelphia and NJ area such as The legendary UFC stepping stone, Ring of Combat and Locked in the Cage, among others. Before retiring from Professional Mixed Martial Arts in 2013, Coach Jeff was ranked as one of the top 3 bantamweights for the recognized Philadelphia MMA promotion, Locked in the Cage.  

Now, after 30 years of Martial Arts experience, of which over a decade was training and competing in MMA with some of the top competitors around the world as well as teaching seminars around the globe, he has settled in New Egypt, NJ and wants to pass on a lifetime of knowledge and passion by teaching not only the physical part of fighting but the mindset it takes to survive while doing it.  

He is very passionate and motivated not only to help those who want to compete, but to help those who want to change their lives for the better through Martial Arts. 

 The Brazilian Jiu-jitsu program of Professor Jeff Cressman's personal martial arts instructional organization "Cressman MMA" is a fully recognized affiliate of The Carlos Catania Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Association.
